The PC version does them very well but I must warn you that ALL achievements must be accomplished with Sonic rather than Tails (unlockable). The achievements are very fun extras that were introduced with the XBox360 release. Sometimes accomplishing the goals can be a tedious hunt, in which case I recommend the following guide to help you out of those tight spots: The guide has a level map for each stage with time travel spots noted. The game is massive and you'll frequently go over the 10 minute limit on levels trying to accomplish the goals and find just the right spots to time travel. Each time period changes the layout of the level and the backgrounds and music and each zone has a good and bad future so each zone is really 4 zones in 1. Sometimes you may wind up in the wrong time period (such as the bad futures) while they are fun to explore they won't help you accomplish your goals and traveling into the past can be very tricky in the later stages. It is hard to do when you want to do it and sometimes too easy when you don't. Finding the right spots for time travel can be very tricky. To time travel you must hit the appropriate sign post and then maintain a good running speed for 3-5 seconds without getting hit or stopped. * Destroy the robot generator in the past * Destroy the Metal Sonic hologram in the past * Travel to good future and exit the level You must travel between the past, present and future in order to accomplish these goals. Unlike all other Sonic CD games where pretty much the only goal is to exit stage left, this game forces you to be more careful in how you progress through it by giving you the following goals. I even bought the ill-fated Sega CD for this game. * Travel to Sonic CD is one of my favorite Sonic games. * Destroy the robot generator in the past * Destroy the Metal Sonic hologram in the past Sonic CD is one of my favorite Sonic games. I would highly recommend this game for anyone that loves the Sonic series, retro platformers, or platformers in general. One thing I noticed is that the frame rate is locked at 60 FPS, but it isn't noticeable and only know that because I had a frame rate counter. The control is great, I was using a keyboard because I don't have controller. This port has some good options such as resolution control, so the game will fit and scale to proper resolutions, at least for the 16:9 monitor that I was using. Sonic CD was originally released on the Mega CD. For those of you who don't know Sonic CD is one of the best games in the Sonic The Hedgehog series, and this is a great PC port. The This is just the best way to play this game. This is just the best way to play this game.
